The most significant feature of the Taurus Pro is brand new LOWA sole called Lima. It has significantly more cushioning than other boots in its class thanks to LOWA's proprietary DynaPU, which feels much more cushioned and springy than traditional walking boot soles. It also has a new tread design, with multidirectional lugs, ideal for mixed terrain. The fabric and leather upper has built in flex zones so the boots will need almost no breaking in and should be comfortable straight out of the box. Finally the Taurus Pro has a Gore-Tex lining, so is completely waterproof.
